Now smoking Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This was the original 515 that Basil Rathbone smoked, and the model that he smoked it in. All the ferals are out.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am smoking first production Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a straight smooth brown Algerian briar family era Barling’s Make Billiard 6 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. The stampings suggest 1930s, but the “6” is a previously unknown stamp number and placement. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. Getting ready to clean a few pipes.

Near the last third of this bowl of year 2018 Solani 633 in a straight 1954 patent Dunhill 148 Group 3 black shell bulldog made for the France market with a black saddle vulcanite stem. Fed Tomato the Brave who proceeded to jump on my lap for lots of scratching and rubbing. Once he got all that he wanted, he wanted out. Watching the Orioles-Rangers game.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am half way through this bowl of year 2018 D&R Windsail in a smooth straight dark brown family era “Canadian” by Sasieni with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Harry the Hairy came in to eat and play. He used to be afraid when I threw cat nip balls to him, but now he realizes that means play time and he enjoys it. He can jump high, he's quick, energetic, and can run fast. When I quit throwing them, Harry decided to do his own attacks on the various balls batting and pouncing on them around the den. Sleepy Suzy watched him with some interest. She used to do all of that when she was younger and thinner. She sez, "That stuff is for the younger crowd." :)
