Considering where you live, I would jar and/or mylar everything you weren't currently smoking as soon as you can. Humidity promotes mold growth. All I had hoped for was to keep the salt away, living at the beach, and most have in fact expanded so you are right. I have more than I can smoke so may auction the good tins and jar anything that's suspicious for my own use. But, you would probably strongly agree that those light tins have to be replaced soon, wouldn't you? That would include GLP, McClelland, etc. but not the solid European tins? TIA for any advice.

Is that a Pete Red Spigot 80s ? I love the patina on the silver versus the new out of the box shiny look.My main meer was in desperate need of a long-overdue cleaning. Nasty build up of pipe cleaner fluff and tar behind the tenon and the mortise piece was cemented in place. Spent an hour and a half on that, most of which was carefully trying to get the mortise part out. She's drying right now before I put a new mortise/tenon in.
