I finished up my Thanksgiving Day a while back, look forward to the next release. Quickly going through Dark Holler, too. These are hands down my favorite annual releases. Great blends!
I started the morning off with some G.L. Pease Jackknife Plug in a Butz-Choquin “Supermate” straight pot with some black coffee (picture of the plug prep in my “Doing Chores” thread here in the forums). Surprisingly little relighting for a plug after doing it this way.
Now I’m working on a bowl of Mac Baren Club blend, rubbed out and dried, in the same pipe after a little cool-down.
Mmmmmm …
Starting off my smoking day with a bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Sutliff Crumble Cake Barrel Aged No. 6 in a Savinelli. I didn’t love the first few bowls I had from the tin when I opened it fresh, but about a year in the jar has improved it considerably.

Did a set of walking reps in the sweltering heat and humidity, and am not far from finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem.
The second bowl of HU White Horses today. This time in a DM Stanwell. 
4 yr. Old EGR in a no name “made in London England” bend and good smoker. Coffee 
50/50 mix of Lane 1-Q and C.S. P.S. Blend (Mildest of JonDavid's Latakia forward blends) ... wow is that a mild calming tasty blend. In the heat of the day waiting for the rain to cool things down, watching the butterflys do their thing.
I’ve always felt Lane1-Q is a surprisingly good blend for mixing.
