Orlik Racing Green in a cob. Tending the garden preparing for the heat wave. Big shout out to @FurCoat for the tin of RG!View attachment 317511
My daughter is having her birthday party today so I won't get to the garden until later. It's going to be a hot and dry week for us here. I actually got half an inch of rain last night which was unexpected.
Last night I was able to can 9 quarts of green beans, freeze 8 pounds of broccoli and 6 pints of bannana pepper rings. I picked some peppers for fajitas this week and it looks like I have some egg plants ready. Once this heat settles in the tomatoes should kick into gear.

A few years ago there was a debate whether you can smoke a cigar or a pipe in a convertible. I used to smoke occasionally in my convertible then, but no one believed me as I did not have photo evidence. Today, immediately after I lit the cigar, my son called for a pick up. While I no longer smoke in my car, I did not want to throw away the cigar I just lit: So here is proof.

Smoking a Villiger La Capitana.
