Morning All! I have been up and at work since 4.30 so this isn't exactly my first bowl of the day. Since I have an industrial amount of work to get through today I am using my 'incinerator' meerschaum. It is the pipe worlds answer to the AK47, as opposed to point, shoot and forget this pipe is light, puff and forget. In keeping with my low maintenance approach to smoking today I intend to get to the bottom of my feelings regarding Ennerdale Mixture vs. Ennerdale Flake. I swear they are the tobacco worlds equivalent to badge engineering but we shall see. Enjoy your day or as our Japanese friends would say 'Be happy in your work!'. I'll pop by later and see how everyone is getting along.

Judging by the title of that book, you might be a little bit behind. 😝

Nearing the half way mark on this bowl of early 2000s Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Watching Mad Dog Russo.

Finished work for the day, and am passing the half way mark on this bowl of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. Fed Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave. Then, Abner the Eager showed up and everybody got nervous, so I spaced out their food hoping that would work. But, Daisy was too upset about seeing Abner, and walked off. I tried to pay Tomato some attention as he gets jealous, but apparently so does Abner, who growled at Tomato, and after both took a swipe at each other, Tomato ran off, too. I tried letting Abner in the house, but Sleepy Suzy got jealous of the attention I paid him, and came over to me reassurance. Abner got jealous, and took a swipe at her and yelped. Suzie growled and hissed, so I had to put Abner out.

Sounds like that little tom cat is going to be a problem. Too bad. He's a lovely fellow. I sure enjoy reading your cat stories!

Just having a quick smoke before lunch in this small meerschaum pipe from my dear late friend Weezell who I think may have somehow been gifted the pipe by another forum member since I recognize the new stem repair work. I am smoking a bowl of Bosun's Plug which tastes like quite a few of the G&H offerings but with the limited choice of plugs available you just have to enjoy what is about in this day and age.

Passing the first third of this bowl of year 2021 Watch City Glass Slipper Micro-Batch in a post-2000 straight brown sandblasted Tom Eltang cherrywood with a black acrylic saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Just posted my review of the Sutliff Crumble Cake Limited Edition No. 6 Phantom Privateer Barrel Aged at TR. It goes on sale July 4.
