This is essentially the same consistency as jerky, and extremely damp after almost a year in the jar.

However, giving it about an hour worth of dry time and a ripping it to shreds yields a mighty fine smoke.

Now smoking some 4noggins' Catamount, again one from the 4noggins Aromatic Sampler. Again, very nice. The pipe is a mystery pipe with a spot that will burn out any time now. Too bad ... it is a nice smoker.

Almost a third of the way through this bowl of 2021 Watch City Simply Orange Virginia in a black sandblast medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 182/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Well, my jarred C&D Virginia Flake still reeks of cherries. It’s a nice smoke, though: light Virginia flavors with a watery sweetness when I keep my foot out of it. I’ll just smoke the rest of this 2oz in a cob and be more careful next time I order bulk tobaccos!

I wanted to try other Virginias while I do that, so I busted open the Amphora Virginia I also got recently. Thankfully it is not tainted by cherries! It’ll take a few more bowls in any given pipe before I’ll trust that I’m getting the true experience, but I’m a fan so far!

They certainly do like to eat and are you sure you are the only one feeding the cats? Several years ago, a feral Siamese cat started coming around our back yard in the morning and late afternoon. My wife gave in and started leaving food out for him and we named him Simpson; although I'm still not sure if he was male or female. One night when it was pouring with rain, he showed up at the back door and my wife made a bed for him in the laundry room where he spent the night, which, needless to say, freaked out our two housecats. He left in the morning after the rain stopped but thereafter, continued to come around for his morning and afternoon meals. After a few months, he began getting fatter and fatter. We then found out at least three of our neighbors were feeding him as well.
