Did a set of walking reps on this hot and humid day, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2015 D&R A.B. Rimboche in an undated slight bend, smooth flame grain Wessex Standard egg with a brown accent on the black vulcanite saddle stem.
Almost a third of the way through this bowl of Peretti Blend W in a straight black sandblasted circa 1950s Comoy’s Peterson’s made for Peterson, Ltd. in Wisconsin billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
Tried to smoke some Smoker's Pride Cherry Cavendish, but I couldn't do it. Bad taste and tongue bite from hell ... and this was after only a few minutes of puffing on it. Not good for locomotives like me. On to some Sutliff's Crème Brulée.
A third of the way through this bowl of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. Watching game two of the Braves-Tigers double header.
The vintage H&B Cobb with some well aged PS Natural Dutch Cav.
A mug of 50/50 homemade Kombucha with ice black tea.
Firing up the wood fired oven to make homemade Pita bread for the smoked leg of lamb Gyros. Our oldest Son’s birthday today.
11 year old Mac Baren HH Old Dark Fired seemed right for the first bowl in this new Doug Finlay poker. This is just what I hoped for, compact with some heft, a good sized chamber and it is “sipping” effortlessly so I’m not imitating a locomotive this evening, lol. Thanks @doug535!
