So would you say the mixture is saucier than the flake?
The last time I bought the flake was in 2016, so I don’t know what the current flake is like but that was my thinking, kind of like how I feel like St. Bruno RR has more sauce than the flake (could all be in my head). Both the flake and mixture obviously come from the same source, I’ve bought “flake” tobacco from Gawith that was more “mixture” than this “mixture” (does that make any sense? lol)

To my tastes, if this was topped anymore, it would be too much. This stuff is heavily scented, I would say every bit as much, if not more than the 2016 Flake that I still have. So, if you are worried that this isn’t as heavily scented as it used to be, buy an ounce or two and see what you think. I’d be bumfuzzled if someone complained that the topping was too faint on this but I’m interested to hear what others think, especially those who were very vocal regarding this subject.

Passing the first third of this bowl of Wilke No. 524 in an undated, unbranded, slight bend smooth darker brown made in France Los Alton VBF zulu with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Fed the ferals, and Molly Danger.

Smoking now a bowl from a self made "blend" combining pipe tobacco and Toscano cigar sliced&rubbed. In -to me- the Top of MM corncobs, the Country Gentleman which is also the most favorite of my whole collection although there other more "quality", more sophisticated, more expensive e.t.c. pipes among the ca 60 pieces.
note: the stem is changed
Have a nice Tuesday good people.

Now smoking Wilke Hearth of Galway in an undated smooth straight medium brown made in France Saillard Lord Clerit lumberman with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Taking a very short break to stretch my back. Listening to an early Phil Harris and Alice Faye show on The Fitch Bandwagon from my collection.

I'll add some to my next order. Thanks.
