We did not get to the places you mentioned, but did climb Vesuvius
Thank you everyone who answered. I appreciate it.Reverse calabash is a cavity in front of the stem, which is very suitable for meer. This material has strong water absorption ability. Water will accumulate in this cavity and be absorbed by the meer.

Sounds like a great trip! My advice - bring more than 2 tobacco's with you! I look forward to seeing the places you find to enjoy a pipe on your travels.I very much enjoyed your posts this past week. Makes me look forward to the trip I am planning to germany, switzerland, and italy next year.
I wholeheartedly agree. If you are going to be gone more than a week or 10 days and smoke more than a bowl or two a day, it's a good idea to bring more than two tins. I ran out of tobacco while I was in Tbilisi, Georgia last year and had to scrounge around town until I found a tobacconist and had to settle for what they had in stock which, unfortunately, was limited, not to mention expensive.Sounds like a great trip!
