Hey John_B, what do you think of the B R Bourbon?
Very good and very much to my taste. The genuine aged Bourbon casing really comes across in the smoke. The room note is great too. As a diabetic, I crave sweet things and this smokes cool and sweet as any blend I've tried. I used to like Players Whiskey flake and this scratches the same itch as that long lost and lamented favorite did. Highly recommended.

Late morning first smoke of the day is G&H "Bright and Burley". It's an okay smoke but not much bright lemony Virginia flavor at all, the taste and cut make me think it's actually supposed to be for rolling.

I stuffed it into my favorite pipe for Virginias, a little yello-bole Dublin I restored a while ago. I love these "cheap" old American pipes because of the funky grain patterns they can have when you get them all cleaned up, I couldn't bring myself to dye this one back to dark brown lol.

Thanks for that, I was on the fence about getting some, and you have cemented that I think I will like this one. Cheers.
