After a long delay, finally completed a multi-stage quarantine / cleaning / deghosting regimen for a new-to-me pipe acquired through the gracious beneficence of fellow forum member @telescopes (Thank you!) Following a rigorous course consisting of chronological, chemical, mechanical, and radiological cleansings and sterilization, former ghosts have been excised. (Happily, it was no bad case so did not need to use the crystal pyramid or rogation.) I am excited to now enter this "Pipe by Lee Limited Edition Imported Briar Seven Pointed Three Star Dublin" into my rotation! First smoke will be MB Mixture Scottish Blend… puffy

Received an unequivocal ass-whooping in Scrabble courtesy of wifey, so went outside with a bowl of Drew Estate Gatsby Luxury Flake in my Savinelli Porto Cervo 122 bent pot and a cup of coffee to recover my composure. I'd won the previous three or four rounds, so I was due to get clobbered, I guess.

Bird report: California scrub-jay, California towhee, Oak titmouse, Common raven, Eurasian collared dove, California kingbird, California quail, House finch, and White-breasted nuthatch. More thunderstorms coming down the chute.

Just finished smoking year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Watching the Yankees-Dodgers game.

Good evening all. Busy day running errands and checking items off the honey do list. Now, it’s me time, and I’m smoking a bowl of Daughter’s and Ryan Rimboche S.J. that I came across after rummaging through a box of forgotten jars. It was my first VaPer love and now I remember why. Sooo good!

@UncleRasta - I‘m ashamed to admit that I was pulling for Man U. today. Does that make me a bad person?;)

Cheers!

This pipe will serve you well. I keep a few of them at my condo in Nevada as well as two unique ones in my collection in California. All of them are more than capable of handling the requirements of regular rotation. I enjoy them and am happy to have a few Lees at my disposal. All the best. You have what so few on this forum will have the pleasure of using to smoke your tobacco. They no not because they are not worthy.

Nearing the half way mark on this bowl from a freshly opened tin of the newly released Drucquer & Sons Ltd. The Merry Monk in a 1960s Austrian meerschaum bent apple with a tapered yellow stem. Working on a review of this sweet and smoky, spicy blend. This should get me to dinner time.
