Now smoking year 2018 Solani 633 in a 1954 patent Dunhill 148 Group 3 black shell bulldog made for the France market with a black saddle vulcanite stem.
Going to light up Uno Signature Series by Per Jensen in a Peterson 9BC Sterling Billiard that was also made in England (and an incredible gift as well). The Sterling line formally debuted as a Rogers Imports line in the early 1950s—this is most likely from 1953–1958.
Hogshead in a Howell. First bowl, only half dozen puffs in but initial flavor profile is pleasing.

It’s been one hell of a week. Working pretty much sun up till sun down. The positive side is that I had a record setting week, the downside is that I had no time to relax with a smoke. That’s all about to change right now. I‘ve loaded a cob with Cabbies Mixture and poured a glass of Larceny Barrel Proof, and I’m headed to the porch for the foreseeable future. Cheers!

Did a second set of walks, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2015 D&R A.B. Rimboche in an undated slight bend, smooth flame grain Wessex Standard egg with a brown accent on the black vulcanite saddle stem.
Granger Rough Cut in a corncob pipe. A pretty decent combo, it seems.
A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2018 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Afternoon bowl of Elizabethan Mixture in a Tilshead smooth Billiard with saddle stem. Following C&D Burley Flake #1, the EM flavor profile was very much enhanced. Very nice. Tomorrow will try working a "rugged" profile blend then follow with a more subtle one, such as C&D Chenet's Cake followed by Peterson De Luxe Navy Rolls.
