Just filled a bowl of Esoterica Pembroke in a sandblast billiard after making a triple shot of espresso creme that is disappointing because it tastes entirely too much like just a regular cup of Joe yet is still good enough to enjoy. The Pembroke on the other hand, tastes like Pembroke and that is a very good thing.

Love the Davidoff stem shape rarely seen on other brands before the 1980s and apart from Davidoff I think the only pipe I ever saw it on was a BBB

Hell of a match, Rafa was obviously in some pain, I’d have liked to seen him at full health. That would have been something.

yes, it is a pity about his health problems, I talk to him from time to time by phone and he seems to be stable.

He is a superb craftsman, his pipes are magnificent smokers, I hope that someday he will resume his activity.

although on his website you can still find some very beautiful pipes, I am sure they will smoke like a dream.
