Did a set of walks, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite stem.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Blue in a smooth dark brown post-WWII Comoy’s Grand Slam 340 patent billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching Mad Dog Russo.
It’s a balmy 95 degrees out today (that’s 35 degrees for the Celsius crowd). The good news is the humidity is very low today, only about 45%, so it only feels like 90 degrees ?.
Having a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in a Savinelli St Nick 616 KS. Beverage is iced light roast coffee sweetened with ribbon cane syrup and a splash of milk. I normally drink my coffee hot and neat, but a little milk or cream really makes it do a little something extra with Burley.

I’m not sure whether it was ever used on those or not, but ostrich leg can look quite a bit like lizard as well.

Snuck in an extra smoke before work today. HH Burley Flake in a Rossi Billiard. Folded and stuffed, hence a nice long smoke.

Looks like a replica 18th century clay pipe as the bowl is canted forward - nice pipe!
It looks like a red coat might smoke.
I think Gawith blends seem well suited to clay pipes; my favourite is the Cherry ? Vanilla, I've not had the Dark Bird's Eye.
How long can you keep it lit?
The best I can manage is 10-15min but I once made a clay pipe of Condor Ready Rubbed last 24min - once!
The reason I kept puffing a bit hard is the thought it might go out - it's against the rules of smoking competitions to relight!
Don't think I'll ever win any long smoking competitions...

The twist @condorlover1 sent me last year was a bit damp so as to survive the journey across the Atlantic Ocean!
I think they drew the line at pony ? skin, hair and all. I’m pretty sure this one’s reptilian though ??
After dinner smoke of McLelland Mature Cake in the straight Longchamp bulldog, moved onto Solani Yellow Label now in the white leather slimline Longchamp billiard. Jeez no wonder we use a lot of acronyms.
