RIP Ozzy Osbourne. I had a feeling a few weeks ago he might not make it and told a friend that was why they were doing the final show in Birmingham. Sad day because Sabbath are among my top favorite bands of all time.
The Road Warriors ... Legion of Doom ... probably did as much as anybody for Black Sabbath when they picked Iron Man (1970) as their music.

Relaxing after a wonderful small salad, a rack and a half of baby back ribs and mashed potatoes dinner with a big peach and a small bowl of strawberry ice cream for dessert. I'm smoking year 2012 Dunhill Flake in a straight smooth dark brown Algerian briar 1916 Barling The Hunt with beautiful silver work and a black vulcanite saddle stem with an orific bit. It's too humid for coffee, so ice water and bergs is my drink.

Hey Man,
You had the fortitude to get out there and go regardless. I’d love to do a Century and look forward to seeing your photos from it in the future 👏
Thanks! October 24 I went down hard. Severe concussion and fairly serious back injury. German Shepard got away from its owner. We hit each other very hard. Unfortunately dog had to be put down. I got an ambulance ride. At 67 recovery is slower. Helps that a century ride is more about being too stubborn to quit than being fast. 🚴😎

I understand completely.
The biggest battle is gearing up for it and attempting it. If you finish it then it’s something you can chalk up. Realize that if you only complete some of it then that is also an accomplishment and just as important as finishing the last mile. The Win is that you had the guts to attempt it and that already beats all those who didn’t !
I just hope when you’re passing someone all they hear is the chain switching sprockets and all they see is the smoke bellowing from the pipe !
