Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and near the first third of this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Tomato the Brave came in to eat and then wanted back out. The others have stayed outside all day and evening. Still haven't seen Abner the Eager.

I understand completely.
The biggest battle is gearing up for it and attempting it. If you finish it then it’s something you can chalk up. Realize that if you only complete some of it then that is also an accomplishment and just as important as finishing the last mile. The Win is that you had the guts to attempt it and that already beats all those who didn’t !
I just hope when you’re passing someone all they hear is the chain switching sprockets and all they see is the smoke bellowing from the pipe !
Excellent Words Paul!

Last smoke of the day is first production Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a straight smooth brown Algerian briar family era Barling’s Make Billiard 6 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. The stampings suggest 1930s, but the “6” is a previously unknown stamp number as is its placement. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. Reading while this bowl lasts.

Quite some time has passed since I last posted. My baby is now a toddler and almost 17 months now and that means less time for smoking or keeping up with the WAYS thread.

Smoking some Five Brothers while breaking in a new Vauen Dr. Perl McRooty 9 I got as an refurbished estate from Mr. @Dshift. It’s a great pipe that was designed for those old 4mm paper filters so it’s pretty old.
