A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2014 Dunhill Flake in a straight smooth 1960 Dunhill DR 137 group 4 root briar canted dublin with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Watching the Pirates-D-Backs game with Sleepy Suzy by my side. I had a good laugh earlier when Tomato the Brave came in to eat. After he did that, he plopped down on the floor near me. A couple of minutes later, I heard a weird noise. I was looking around trying to figure what it was, and where the was noise coming from before I realized that it Tomato snoring up a storm. Never heard the little begger snore before.

Yeah me too. More and more. Before, I hesitated hearing so much about ‘brand tax’ etc. However, my 69 Shell Briar became one of my favorite smokers so I got another. Then another… and so on. They’re all smoking great so far. This one is
my birth year which I didn’t even pay attention to so that’s kind of cool.

Booked axe throwing session for Sat. 17 Aug; going to the Viking event at Cromford Mill & Matlock Bath Pirate Mutiny next weekend. Cromford & Matlock Bath are next to each other so can go to both on the same day. Looking forward to Jason the blacksmith lighting my clay with an ember from his forge. @Speak Easy says it's going to be a great smoke once Jason gets that clay going!
