Lane 1-Q in the Barontini 1/2 Spigot with 9mm charcoal filter. I was sitting in the backyard in a lawn chair leaning way back and looking up at the sky as 4 small brown bats were criss crossing the sky at tree top level. One went to my right and I was expecting it to swoop around and come back and suddenly I jumped thinking "Oh @#$% ! A Vampire Bat !! --- A Heron flew low and slow over the yard and house on its way up to the pond ! I was NOT expecting that !! (They're huge compared to a brown bat !). So much for relaxing nature!

No idea, it’s been on SPC for a while, I’d guess 2020+. He learned a lot from JT Cooke early on, could explain his master blasts.

I'm passing the first third of this bowl of Pfeifen Huber Virginia Golden Flake in a 1938 smooth straight brown patent Dunhill R 115 bowling ball apple with a tapered cumberland stem. Been watching the ball game. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Pre-dinner Peretti 1072 in a Ropp Superior Algerian bulldog, and some red wine while groovin' with KEXP "Where the Music Matters."

@Ben.R.C the wine is showing a few tannins still...similar to the (gentler) astringency of the HH Latakia. I wonder if that fades over time like with wine? Anyone know?
