Now smoking year 2022 Watch City Blue Ridge Special in a straight smooth ebony post-WW2 LHS Sterncrest 91 bulldog with a sterling silver band, a diamond shank and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Match Victorian in the 6 panel bent lattice meer. I find a firmer pack, ala the 3-pack system really works best with this blend in this pipe. Burns better, tastes better. Gravity with light press, not good. "palm swirl" doesn't cut it.
Packed another round of Squadron Leader special edition with Perique, this time in a Tsuge straight taper stem blast billiard. This seems to be my go-to blend for heat waves. I'll light up after I finish a few chores.
Some time in August, at least in North Carolina in the past, there have been one or two days in August where along with some warmth and humidity, there seems to be a little taste of cool in the air. The tree frogs tune up, and you can almost smell fall in the distance.
But we still get steamy days on into September and October, and it can even get balmy on Thanksgiving or Christmas, and we've had snow on April first. We have seasons, but not too strictly.

Smoking a bowl of who knows what, from my jar of scraps, which I labeled "Holmes Jar". It's got a little of 5 or 6 kinds of tobacco. Really a rather surprisingly nice smoke. Using a MM Missouri Pride cob.
Louisiana Red from a little unbranded sandblast I grabbed from a buddy over the weekend.
An IPA ice cold with a Cob, Rouxgaroux should do the job. Enjoy the day everyone

A buddy of mine sent me a sample of Sutliff Molto Dolce. Trying that tonight in a H. Wiebe Radiator.
