I love the stuff. I tend not to get along with heavily topped or cased blends, and as far as I can tell, this is neither.

Hopefully you get what I’m talking about. it’s the predominant tin note in Hal O’ The Wynd and Old Gowrie. I find it slightly sweeter smelling in Old Gowrie.

It’s been a bit odd to my tastebuds, a funky sweetness if I don’t dry them out, so now I’ll dry them crispy so it’s not as noticeable, but the taste is still there, and for the life of me, not sure what this tin note/taste is from... hmm

Passing the quarter mark on this bowl of Wilke Lizzie Blood Virginia: Final Verdict in an undated, unbranded straight lattice meerschaum military mount with a silver cap and tapered yellow acrylic stem. It has 50% perique. I posted my review of this blend at TR. It goes on sale some time this week, but I'm not sure what day that will be.
