Yeah I love people names for dogs! He is named Bruce for two reasons, he's half Australian, and he can chew through most "long lasting, extra-durable" dog chew-toys in minutes.

Close to finishing this bowl of Wilke No. 111 in a straight smooth medium brown 2016 Brigham Klondike 16 bulldog with a tapered black acrylic stem. I did finish work, though.
2011 McClelland Blue Mountain in a 1901 Sam McLardy & Co. Meerschaum with a vulcanite stem.

Now smoking year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Time to check on the ferals, and read baseball box scores.
A third of the way though this bowl of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. I'll probably end the day with this smoke.

Found a real treasure yesterday at The Danish Pipe Shop: an estate unsmoked Stanwell Billard Venturi no. 29.
Breaking it in with one of my favorit tobaccos - Orlik Sliced (you may know it as Orlik Golden Sliced).

2015 Escudo in my meer. Put meat on the smoker about an hour ago. Just a couple of chucks that will eventually be shredded and cooked into a sauce that my great grandpa created for there towns annual beef bbq many many years ago. I never got to met him but my grandpa shared his recipe. The festival was called “The Hillsboro BBQ” in Hillsboro Indiana.

How does this compare to C&D Epiphany if you’ve tried that one? I found epiphany to be lackluster and I’m curious if the sutliff is better.
Maybe a month without being able to smoke. I started a few days ago with a dental checkup. And until I finish the treatment, it is not advisable to smoke. Nothing serious, just cleaning, disinfection, new and old fillings. I asked my dentist if corn or rye alcohol disinfects, he laughed devilishly, looking at the ceiling.

Maybe my palate sucks but I don’t notice any difference between bourbon barrel aged and Special reserve Plum Pudding. Lol! I had to try it though!
