Popped into the Longchamp store on the Champs-Elysées last week just to check...no pipes. :-(

I believe they focus mainly on Ladies leather bags and accessories these days. They haven’t produced pipes since about 1978–1980.

I love The Galton Case, but a better book for a newcomer to his work is probably The Chill—it’s a much loved and revered book in the mystery/detective fiction genre, and with good reason.

This is why I love this forum, it's so much more than pipes and tobacco. Edit: I was looking for a book to read and this popped up.

Now smoking year 2016 Peter Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake in a straight smooth brown post-1964 Parker Super Bruyere 88/F group 3 bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Getting ready to clean a few pipes before I go to work.

ODF in a Lasse Scovgaard. This pipe is also asymmetrical like my Herbaugh. Amazing how his smooths go for more then twice as much. Good thing I like sandblasts! I would buy a smooth, just can’t spend that kinda bread often.

This cat’s name is Iris. I adopted her and one of her kittens named Ethel. They are polar opposites! I treasure both but have a special bond with Iris. She follows me around like a puppy and makes a sound that reminds me of Curly from the 3 stooges when he’d rub his head. She trills and squeaks rather then meows.

Pre-2010 Stokkebye Luxury Twist Flake in a Jerry Crawford Rhodesian. The LTF smells wonderfully like a fruit cake chock full of raisins.
