I bougjt a Big Ben Barbados (similar to an Al Pascia Curvy, but not a reverse calabash) in hopes to have a smaller pipe for weekday morning smokes. It has a deceptively large chamber, which is not a bad issue to have. Just unexpected. It’s interesting—maybe it’s because of the density of the McClelland flake and the smaller diameter of the Savinelli Punto Oro 321 Mini’s chamber having a smaller exposed surface area, but I almost got a two and a half hour smoke out of this little pipe, which was unexpected. So much for a shorter smoke in this little guy!
I plan on culling the herd a little bit and the Barbados will survive the cut.
