It’s interesting—maybe it’s because of the density of the McClelland flake and the smaller diameter of the Savinelli Punto Oro 321 Mini’s chamber having a smaller exposed surface area, but I almost got a two and a half hour smoke out of this little pipe, which was unexpected. So much for a shorter smoke in this little guy!
I bougjt a Big Ben Barbados (similar to an Al Pascia Curvy, but not a reverse calabash) in hopes to have a smaller pipe for weekday morning smokes. It has a deceptively large chamber, which is not a bad issue to have. Just unexpected.

I plan on culling the herd a little bit and the Barbados will survive the cut.

GH&Co. Scotch Mixture in a Johs bent blast Dublin/scoop with a rakish angle on the brim, black finish and a smooth finished wood shank band. Wrestled a bunch of on-sale ice cream my wife bought into the freezer to keep it frozen. Pork chops, broccoli, and corn for supper. Flash flood in the creek bottoms, but otherwise things are calm.
