1928-32 Kaywoodie "Drinkless" Rock Ambera #7255. This pipe came with a bakelite stem, designed to look like amber. I will try some of this aged Savinelli Cavendish (don't know what to expect). Getting ready for the Crawford v Pence showdown tonight. Will toggle back and forth between that and UFC.

In an Empire state of mind!!! NYC with my daughter for some sweltering fun. Ordered a bunch of tobacco to take back. Snuck out to Madison Sq Park to do my best to overpower (or at least mask) the smell of weed and stinky American cigarettes. Here with my travel Nording filled with SPC Jazz.

It’s hard to enjoy an outdoor pipe when it’s 100F but I’m doing my best.
Popped a bulging tin of Happy Hour from 12/19 last night and I’ve only had it since.
Quite enjoyable so far. Well rounded. This happy hour has a little more refined conversation so it’s a little more quiet than noisy.

I love 5 brothers, it was one of the first tobaccos I bought, I searched for strong pipe tobacco because I was coming from an unfiltered cigarette background. No nonsense smokes.

C&D Tuggle Hall, a unique English blend of Latakia, white burley, and Perique, a real change of pace, in an Austrian pipe my sister bought me from Austria, a Kemperling bent Rhodesian, smooth, in a light chestnut stain with a bead line and thin silver-colored band. The pipe has a good big chamber, I'd say a Group 5, and a good broad bit.

We got a cloud cover today that kept the temperature, predicted to be in the upper nineties, in the upper 80's, extra good luck, and hoping the same for tomorrow. I don't want to jinx the deal here. Friends are walking their dogs at 6 a.m., and our cats aren't even interested in the door, being long haired.

My 2 girl cats (medium hair) can’t get enough of this heat, the 2 older boys are staying in the AC!
