Had a great phone chat with a good friend, and am not far from finishing this bowl of year 2013 Esoterica Tilbury in a smooth medium bend 1999 Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Milverton with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

A third of the way through this bowl of 2021 Watch City Simply Orange Virginia in a black sandblast medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 182/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem.

Fired up the Weber kettle and a cob full of 7Seas gold. Watching the boys jump on the trampoline as the chicken cooks. My daughter is occupied in the garden catching grasshoppers. ? Green tea with lemon on the side.

Country Squire Green Dragon in a Savinelli Erica Fiamma 128 Billiard (17.5x38.5mm chamber) with vulcanite stem and 6mm balsa filter. The last bowl of this tobacco and pipe was excellent. This one - too hot, too wet, too acidic, very little flavor; like smoking an unripe orange or lemon, I suspect the pipe needs a full cleaning with salt so that will happen tomorrow along with the Sav 2614KS and maybe the Vauen Olaf which means I need to break out a few other pipes for the day (not a problem ).

Sutliff 507-C VA Slices in a Dr. Grabow Redwood. I am liking this tobacco more with each smoke.

A little birdie told me that if you mix their VA slices with their 515 RC-1 blend and let it sit for about five years it makes for one incredible smoke. I bought an oz of each and have them hanging out together in the ol’ cellar. I’ll report back in 4 1/2 years to let ya know! ?
