Dorchester (sample) in the Stefano bent Rhodesian, with a scotch highball. Very humid (again), but at least the cicadas have all died off. Good fertilizer for the vegetation, which is good, as the soil here is rather anemic as far as nutrients go.
Bird report: California scrub-jay, Steller's jay, House finch, California towhee, California quail, Northern flicker, Western kingbird, Common raven, Oak titmouse, White-breasted nuthatch, and Mountain chickadee (my favorite). Wife got some lovely sky photos, which I will try to share on here tomorrow, along with whatever I decide to toke up.
@EssJaySea it ain't a contest, you've done a fine job! I'd probably see some of the same birdies if we still lived in our bungalow in Hollywood. Interestingly, my wife bucks the trend...she prefers the room note of what she calls the "natural" blends versus the aromatics, although Lane RLP-6 certainly got her attention earlier this week... ?
