Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am smoking year 2020 Peter Heinrichs Golden Sliced in a 2003 smooth medium bend straight grain Ardor Venere Extra signed by Dorelio Rovera Dublin and a black acrylic saddle stem. Going to compare this to the current version to see if it's changed. So far, this does taste quite like the older version that I had smoked a while back. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Almost half way through this bowl of year 2022 Peter Heinrichs Golden Sliced in a straight smooth dark brown late 1890s, early 1900s WDC bulldog with silver bands around the ridges, a decorative sterling silver band and tapered black vulcanite stem with an orific bit.

Enjoyed a tasty peach, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of C&D Anthology 1992-2022 in a 2015 straight dark brown Peterson Irish Harp 150 bulldog with a silver band and a tapered acrylic cumberland fish tail stem. Working on a review of this new blend.

Close to finishing this bowl of C&D Anthology 1992-2022 in a medium bend 2001 Ural lattice Rhodesian with a yellow with white swirls acrylic saddle stem. Watching the Braves-Mets game as I work on a review of this blend.

Another busy day, pipe finally coming out after dinner. Went to the B&M to pick up another tin of Sutliff English #1 as well as grabbing a tin of Peterson EMP and Savinelli Jupiter before continuing kitchen projects.

Instead of the new ones, back to some Sutliff Apple #208, a widely disliked blend with a 1.7 on TobaccoReviews.com, but one of the only aromatics I've ever tried and liked. Then again, it's all burley and cavendish with the aromatic taste extremely subdued, so it's naturally right up my alley, and perfect for an easy after-dinner smoke.

Packed for later, C&D Mountain Camp in a Savinelli Venere rusticated straight apple I won some years ago in the SP/pipemagazine cartoon caption contest, along with a Savinelli t-shirt I regularly wear. The blend is a sister to C&D Bayou Night, the same tobaccos but in different proportions, and somewhat milder. They really are quite different, and I have both on hand to suit my mood. If you're interested in either, the complete blend profiles are on SP's bulk tobacco pages.
