This thin bowl 56/57 Dunhill Lovat purrs this mor with a bowlful of Dunhill EMP. This pipe is a bit too dainty for me. I can’t imagine why the pipe maker would make it so thin skinned. But the rusticated work is superb.

Half way through this bowl of year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Daisy the Feral Princess heard me turn the TV on, and started banging on the screen door, so I gave her some dry and some wet food. Mad Dog Russo's show starts in a minute or two.
About a third of the way through this bowl of year 2014 Astley’s No. 55 in a 1915-1920 straight smooth dark brown BBB Own Make 150 apple with a silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem.

I have been so busy of recent that I have not really had time to post much including what I am smoking or the pipes I am enjoying. I thought you might enjoy this small bag of tobacco porn and at the sometime give you a visual on the progress on the stubborn meerschaum that refuses to color. I have finally found a magic way to ensure this pipe now behaves - whisper quietly to it that unless it starts coloring it will be sent on a one way trip to 'Uncle' Embers!

@PaulTheScandinavian I bought a tin of Erinmore Flake to smoke in my clay pipes; I found it a damp squib and difficult to light

Did a set of walking reps on this sweltering day, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite stem. Lunch follows this smoke.

Bruce Weaver born June 4, 1951 and left us July 27, 2019 was a dear friend and my all time favorite pipe maker. Starting on June 4th I've been celebrating his work daily by smoking his pipes and I think I'll culminate the occasion on July 27th by smoking his favorite tobacco. Today though it's Christmas Cheer 2016 in a blasted egg with an ivory and vintage bakelite stem.
@Chasing Embers : You know I very rarely like briar pipes but that one there you got is something very special. Was that a 'one off commission' or part of a set?
