Spent some time trying to organize my cellar and came across an old bag of McClelland 5100 I forgot all about. Thankfully I was smart enough to put it in a jar with other miscellaneous tobaccos. Judging from the bag (Uptown’s Smoke Shop) I think this is from around 06. This has to be the sweetest tobacco I have ever had, almost a too sweet candy. Wow. My 2010 5100 is almost perfect. I will try a few more bowls before it goes back in the jar for another long nap.

I think it’s lepipe.it that has them. Definitely “value priced”.
Thanks! Wow those are some really nice looking pipes for a great price! I definitely see some similarities to Gamboni’s work on some of them. The Gamboni pipe is by far the most I’ve ever spent on a pipe, I’m more of a tobacco man. I definitely appreciate all the beautiful pipes posted here but most of my collection are factory/mid grade pipes... I had to have at least one high end pipe and I have no regrets but my Stanwell’s/Savinelli’s/Neerup/St. Regis pipes smoke every bit as good and I wouldn’t be crushed emotionally/financially if I were to drop and break a shank on one of those pipes... well maybe some of them I would be crushed emotionally, especially the pipes that have been with me since my humble beginnings.
