Now smoking Smoker’s Pride Mellow Taste in the very first pipe I ever bought ($2.49) in 1974; a smooth three quarter bend Dr. Grabow Omega military mount with a nickel band and a black vulcanite stem with a p-lip. Have enough left for a couple more bowls. Going to do another set of walking reps in a moment or two.

PS Amsterdam P583, Virginia and dark-fired Kentucky, in a straight rusticated bamboo shank Dublin by the late award winning North Carolina carver Bob Hayes; this is reminiscent of the late fish'n'banjo's pipe collection, up-market carver, bamboo shank and all. I'm ready to light her up.

Now smoking Ken Byron Ventures Van Gogh in a 1980s White Pipe straight lattice apple meerschaum with an acrylic yellow cream colored saddle stem. Have enough left for a bowl or so. Ice water and bergs to drink.

Mixture No. 79 in a slightly bent smooth author Lucino, stamped with its date of manufacture 2013. This is a bit less blocky than the Sav 320 and a good tribute to the author's of the world. My other Luciano is a straight rusticated billiard with a saddle stem; it's a good brand of pipe, though I'm uncertain if they are still in production.
