Looks a lot like Prince George (lotsa houses like that, too) except we get 6-12 feet of that cloudsnot every year. Ironically, we're pretty warm right now, thawing and freezing, thawing and freezing, and the roads are dynamite.

You guys up in Hockey Territory know how to handle this stuff for half of the year. Folks down in the Gulf States will be in trouble with 7 inches and 10f temperatures. Historic temps & snow for them.
They simply don’t build, prepare or have the equipment to handle it.
I foresee total gridlock and busted pipes galore.
Here where I am in Virginia all we have to worry about is the housewives making a run on all the bread and milk

I love that little pipe. I think something of that ilk is on my birthday present to myself list. I'm thinking I've "mastered" slow smoking, ie way better at it now, that I can use a nosewarmer to good effect now.

It made the parking lot smokes I copped while running errands very convenient.
Nose warmers are fantastic companions.

Pease Spark Plug (from late 2021) in a Skull and Crossbones Figural pipe, maker unknown (no stamping whatsoever)—the pipe was purchased by the original owner in Germany circa August 1945 and brought back to the USA. It has a small removable brass stinger. The overall length from stem button to front teeth is a tad under 7.5".

Giving the 4AB Natural a day of rest. Gold Star Nightwish, neat, is my drink. Watching Bat Masterson.

Almost half way through his bowl of year 2013 Rotary Navy Cut in a post-1938 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 bulldog with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Nigel Bruce smoked this model in two Sherlock Holmes movies. Please consider asking Shane Ireland at Smoking Pipes and Peterson to bring the pipe back into production.

With the dark stain, it’s hard to make out enough grain to know 100%, but it’s probably briar.

This mornings smoke in the back garden in my shorts is some of the last remnants of a tin of Geometrie’. I’ve smoked this fresh and now after a little jar time (3 months) and it’s changed, melded together better so I’m very much looking forward to the cellared tins in a few years.

To my northern compatriots take it easy in that snow and if cabin fever is upon you, smoke a bowl.
