Half way through this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed all the ferals with no troubles. I fed Harry the Hairy outside. It's very cold today (22 degrees F.), but the streets are finally clear of ice although we have a chance of snow later today. I am deciding on whether or not to do a set of walks since the weather has prevented me from doing that.

Now smoking year 2000 VaPer Three Nuns in a 1938 straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell bulldog with a silver band repair with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Decided not to walk since the wind chill makes it below 20 degrees F. And I have lots to do today.

No pipes for three days. Just chew and smoking two or three of the little homerollies each day I've made up to finish them off so they don't get stale. No particular reason except every once in a while a disciplined fast is good for the soul.

I would add for your interest that Sir Walter Raleigh straight tobacco is about the best chew I've experienced. Like the flowers on my plant. Delicious, and quite sweet indeed. Supplies the necessary medicinal nic hit, too, very well indeed! Borkum Riff Dark and Smoker's Pride Classic are also very good in this regard. I'll be doing a post on this. And they all smoke great, as a lot of you know.

Will be doing a few things in other areas of the forum, catching up on a few other promises! Cheers.

Took a few more pulls off my Oliva CT Reserve cigar in the first pipe I ever bought. It wasn't terribly enjoyable anymore so I tossed it and loaded it up with Hunting Creek by CS. I've noticed I really enjoy aros after having a cigar. It's like dessert 😉

I've noticed the same thing. I particularly like Smoker's Pride Vanilla Cavendish after a plain cigar!

C&D Exclusive in a Abe Herbaugh Apple 🍎 and an Espresso on the side. Just started snowing and just made it back from a Costco run.

I love that little pipe. I think something of that ilk is on my birthday present to myself list. I'm thinking I've "mastered" slow smoking, ie way better at it now, that I can use a nosewarmer to good effect now. :)

Looks a lot like Prince George (lotsa houses like that, too) except we get 6-12 feet of that cloudsnot every year. Ironically, we're pretty warm right now, thawing and freezing, thawing and freezing, and the roads are dynamite.
