Almost half way through this bowl of Seattle Pipe Club Hogshead in a well appreciated medium bend, smooth brown 1950s Peterson 999 Dublin chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem.
OGS in a little Jensen pipe. I really like this little pipe. I have no idea what the shape would be called. It's similar to the stanwell peewit.
Pegasus in a little apple. Great blend, great pipe, great night. Smooth and sweet just like I like it.
GLP Samarra in a Tonni Nielsen No. 3 cherrywood.
Looks like hawkbill 84 to me
Half way through this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Erratic past day . . . preparing my spiel for AGM at the Gun Club. This morning's smoke was not that unusual . . . . every once in a while I do a small pipe, in this case my McQueen Miniature Prospecter in cherry wood and load it up with Borkum Riff Cherry Cavendish, a bold, sturdy aromatic that suits my taste for a morning blast just fine.
Here's my late afternoon/early evening smoke, and my last post until Tuesday until after our AGM. This was a most excellent smoke with my Brigham Tundra 026S Rhodesian, a very fine entry level job, which I use if I want a long afternoon smoke with an English. Today I loaded it with TobaccoBarn's Traditional English, an excellent tobacco which I have an abundance of. This most excellent hour plus joined my growing list of best smokes I've ever had. As I said before, finally catching on and learning the ropes. I'd class this pipe as a dedicated genre pipe, and gets fed only English (not Navy - I think that's a decidedly different kettle of fish.) Whatever the case may be, it made my day! Just finished smoking year 2012 Dunhill Royal Yacht in a 1970s smooth brown slight bend GBD International 9665 dublin rough top sitter with a flat bottom and a black vulcanite saddle stem.
A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2012 Dan Tobacco Treasures of Ireland: Limerick in a 2021 medium bend black sandblasted Peterson Newgrange 80S bent bulldog silver spigot with a tapered reddish brown, black striped acrylic stem.

I received a tin of Golden Days of Yore for Christmas and it’s certainly a good blend, but for my tastes it lacked the strong holiday spices I wanted. To that end I oven-dried what I hadn’t smoked and mixed up a batch of rum, peppermint candy canes, cinnamon and cloves. The mixture was reduced, blended with the dried original and the moisture allowed to even out. Finally an ounce or so of cherry aromatic was mixed in. The result was jarred and today I had a bowl. It was definitely a more noticeable holiday blend in taste and smell – very yummy. If my holiday spice topping tames down too much over the next couple of months, I may add a second dose of the topping so it will be a spice bomb next Christmas.
