Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and then smoked a bowl of year 2020 Mac Baren Scottish Mixture in a straight, smooth brown 1960s Lane era Charatan Special 38 bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Took forever to watch Bob Costas interview George Brett and Goose Gossage because after Tomato the Brave ate, he was running around banging against or stomping on everything in his path. When he's hyper, he's Barry Allen fast, and it takes a bit of work to slow him down. Finally, after admonishing him for the fifth time, he got the message, and wanted to go outside. I watched him through the window, and I don't know what Tomato was chasing, but if it was The Invisible Man, nobody's going to see what part of him Tomato bit.

Working on a custom morning blend. This attempt is Makhuwa with a pinch of latakia and pinch of non sweetened blending cavendish. Its pretty good and the cavendish smooths out some of the edges.

A third of the way through this bowl of year 2016 Sutliff Revelation Match in a straight smooth brown pre-WWII Kingsway (Comoy’s) London Made 61 Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. I'll end the day reading with this smoke.

I feel your pain. The culture-shock. I always used to keep the Twelve Days sacred if I could, back when I too was a wage-slave, and the first day back at work was never good. But a good smoke is a great consolation in times of adversity. I hope you experience a gentle transition back to the treadmill.Back to work after 2 weeks off
