For Sobrbiker:
1) Not much cactus here in MN ... :ROFLMAO: ... so I'm curious. From your pic (page 179, Dec), on the green stumps, is the white interior edible, either for people or the horses? I've read that some cactus are edible.
2) Re: your lost pipe, I'm assuming you went back, covering ground, looking for it. It was a sad loss.

Been sticker than a dog since last Thursday with the flu. First bowl of tobacco since Friday and wow, it tasted like ...... Crap. Sir John's Flake Virginia in an Altinok.

Sorry to hear that. Hope you are feeling better soon!

Getting down to the last few smokes of this '21 Windjammer (plenty more cellared). Boy it's good with a couple years on it (and fresh too)

I just finished a pipe of Rattray's Exotic Passion, normally a fantastic blend, but this was from a tin I purchased some time ago and forgot to jar up (which is a must because they're not sealed) and it was nearly awful. It was quite dry. I will have to try to rehydrate it, which amazingly I've never had to attempt before.
I really wanna try that one. The tin alone is worth it and Marlin Flake is one of my favorites so I want to explore more Rattray's. Good to know to jar it right away, not surprising considering it's a rectangular tin.
