Very cool! I'm always excited to hear about other pipe smokers in SoCal! I'm based in the IE but just a hop skip and a jump from LA! Be safe out there!
Relaxing after a wonderful two big plates of spaghetti and meatballs topped with sharp cheddar cheese dinner with a few chocolate covered cherries for dessert. M'lady is baking oatmeal raisin cookies so I'll eat a few in a little while. I just finished smoking year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
6x6 (6 year old Six Pence) in a lattice globe meer.
GH Aniseed Twist in an AKB meerschaum. Humidity in my office must be pretty low. I cut a few coins off of the fairly damp twist last night and they were nearly crispy dry this evening.

Half way through this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Blue Flake in a 2015 Ryan Alden quarter bend burgundy sandblasted Queen of Hearts freehand with a black acrylic saddle stem. Sleepy Suzy is by my side. Haven't seen Abner the Eager today.
Cowboy Coffee for the drive into work. Haunted Bookshop for the drive home. Enjoying some Stratfordshire in a Parker watching the tube.
Accompanying me on tonight's commute home I loaded up my meer with ODF and had some decaf Paris black tea from Harney and Sons while listening to Lex Fridman's podcast.
