Peter Stockebye #96 London Export English Mixture cigarette tobacco in the Vauen Olaf bent egg with 9mm filter. This is a shag cut straight virginia tobacco that is semi-aromatic. Its bag note is plum, prune, vinegar and it has all the taste of a very good virginia tobacco. Its smooth like Lane 1-Q. But ... its very strong in nicotine. A little goes a long way. Its great for quick satisfaction if you don't have much time ... like work break or traveling and time is limited. It ignites instantly and effortlessly and once some ash forms it slows to a smoldering ember for sipping. Its very strong for me so I only took about 7 puffs and put the pipe down for later. Yesterday I tried Rouseco Golden Harvest Silver and I suspect that it is an attempt to match the PS #96 without the nicotine. They are similar in flavor but not the same with the PS96 being the better of the two but also far more expensive. The PS96 comes moist and the RGHS very almost too dry. The PS96 would be a good back up tobacco when traveling. If you like virginias try a pouch,

GH Ennerdale Flake in a Brebbia 834. My first time trying a Lakeland, and I really enjoyed it! Took it slow as I was concerned about the nic-hit, but it wasn't as strong as I expected. The floral essence of this one was a nice change of pace from what I'm used to.

I finished the Peter Stockebye London Export # 96 and the last three puffs gave the distinctive taste of Vanilla or French Vanilla ! After some strong columbian coffee and light cream I loaded the Vauen Olaf bent egg with 3/4ths Lane 1-Q and 1/4 Peter Stockebye London Export # 96 ... Wow !! This may be the ultimate morning parfait ! Simply incredible. Smooth tasty and just strong enough to be satisfying. I will be trying this formula again tomorrow morning too.

Celebrating the resolution of a complicated land boundary dispute between the church, a neighbouring residence and a business premises (and a local busybody who stirred it all up in the first place) with a view to tree cutting in a conservation area... with a 50/50 mix of Gawith's Rum Twist and Tabac Manil La Volute, in the Barling half-bent Meer. Happy Friday, and a satisfying weekend to you all. :)
