2 half bowls of Rouseco Golden Harvest Silver - a blend of burley, orientals and virginia - back to back in the Peterson Pub pipe with 9mm filter. Supposedly this is milder than their mild version. I had the second bowl to confirm what I was tasting. This is a bag pipe tobacco ... some say RYO but I think its closer to pipe tobacco than cigarrette tobacco although it is a ribbon shag cut. The bag note is prune, plum and a bit of vinegar, I could taste the virginia and some red virginia. I didn't notice any oriental. It does have some topping. It had a strong rich sweet flavor like sweet bread dough before its baked. It does have some burley in it to which I am highly sensitive but only enough to sting and clear my sinuses not enough to produce any tongue bite. Its not bad at all and very mild and certainly worth the price (12oz @ $13). I would compare its flavor to mixing C&D Sweet virginia mixed with some Sutliff 707 Sweet virginia. I dd find it quite smokey and a strong in flavor ... like an english compared to a straight virginia. I think next time I will pack it tighter and sip it to try to discern any other flavors. I did not notice any ciitrus or tea flavors...more like an added chemical topping that was slightly acidic.
