A third of a bowl left of year 2013 Rotary Navy Cut in a post-1938 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 bulldog with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Nigel Bruce smoked this model in two Sherlock Holmes movies. Please consider asking Shane Ireland at Smoking Pipes and Peterson to bring the pipe back into production. Abner the Eager just showed up, so he's inside and eating. Harry the Hairy's kind of squirrely. Dunno what's bothering him. Tomato the Brave was on my lap for a while, and after all these years, he's started licking my hand after I scratch and rub him this past week. Daisy the Feral Princess has spent all of her time snoozin'. She started licking and nibbling my hand about a month ago.

Trout stream in my smooth Brigham . With hot coffee. -6 at my house in NM. NWS says that's colder than Nome, AK. Hmmph. What can I say. Stay warm everybody.View attachment 364855
Ouch! Weather happening all over the place. We're well above normal for this time of year, thawing and melting and slipping all over the place. Dangerous. Ft Nelson, about 6 hours drive north of Prince George, set a record for winter warmth in January a couple of days ago. If' I've translated C to F correctly, over 50 degrees above. Usually this time of year it's about 15 below there. I took my dog for a walk the other day in shirtsleeves. Take care!

Don't see very many pre Savinelli Rossi pipes on here. I have but one in my collection.
Here's the other one I have that I bought in '79. For a short while, The Tinderbox carried them. They were sturdy performers at a very reasonable price back then.

This was a natural when I got it. It was a very pale brown. The stem was much lighter, too.

Beautiful pipe. I don’t think I’ve ever seen or heard of this line of Peterson pipes.
Thank you. I bought this at M. Cahill of Limerick in Ireland. I love Rhodesians and this one was beautiful to behold. I bought two of them. The one with an even better finish I gave to my dad who still owns it and smokes it regularly. This would have been around 2009.
