Enjoyed my sleepy, lazy, snowy Sunday with my one of my favourite wardens (Boswell 2020) & a nightcap (from my first order) from the Squire. Hot take, the Creek beats out Old Toby/Big Tombee
Now smoking year 2021 Watch City Simply VOriental in a straight smooth medium brown 1930s Wilshire 5 bulldog (Comoy’s second) made for John’s Pipe Shop in Los Angeles with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Working and listening to The Shadow. I, too, know what evil lurks in the hearts of men because I constantly see beautiful pipes from @tfdickson on this thread.
A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. I fed Sleepy Suzy and Molly Danger, and Daisy the Feral Princess is eating now. The others are outside, but I'll check on them soon.
Last smoke of the day is year 2020 Angler's Dream in a 2016 PSF POY quarter bend black sandblasted Steve Norse Vermont Freehand egg with an aluminum band and a tortoise shell colored acrylic saddle stem. Reading while this bowl lasts.
A mix of Sutliff Sweet VA, J-4, and blending perique in a Grabow Starfire diamond shanked straight wire finish billiard. (a gift from a neighbor who handed me a bag of his old pipes one morning as I passed his house while I was lunting through the neighborhood.)
Couldn't sleep, so I'm up and am a third of the way through this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated slight bend black sandblasted Lorenzo Elba Imperia 8636 egg with an amber colored acrylic saddle stem.
Mac Baren Vanilla Cream in a Kaywoodie Shellcraft. Dark roast on the side. Cold for here this morning, 20 °F, and supposed to start snowing this evening. Doesn't happen here often and everybody goes nuts when it does.
