Stanwells (at least the Danish era ones) are my favourite factory pipes, after the family-era English brands like Barling and Comoy.I've never seen anybody complain about Danish pipemaking lmfao. From what I've seen most people feel the Danish made Stanwells are much better than the current Italian made ones. I must say the bent stem looks much better on it than the original.
I have a Danish Monarch which is a Stanwell second and I love it. It's dedicated for KY blends so I'll post it next time I smoke one.Stanwells (at least the Danish era ones) are my favourite factory pipes, after the family-era English brands like Barling and Comoy.

What a beautiful pipe! I've been off the forum and off the pipe for about 3 years now, but I swear I remember that beauty from before!Last one for me tonight. Going out with a bang. Burley plug in a Tekin squashed tomato with some Eddie 10yr. Something about the deep sherry finish and the burley together...magic.
