I've never seen anybody complain about Danish pipemaking lmfao. From what I've seen most people feel the Danish made Stanwells are much better than the current Italian made ones. I must say the bent stem looks much better on it than the original.
Stanwells (at least the Danish era ones) are my favourite factory pipes, after the family-era English brands like Barling and Comoy.

If I had to start collecting pipes again, I would be happy to have Danish made Stanwells only.

That new acrylic stem was made by The Danish Pipe Shop. They nailed it

I have a Danish Monarch which is a Stanwell second and I love it. It's dedicated for KY blends so I'll post it next time I smoke one.

Last one for me tonight. Going out with a bang. Burley plug in a Tekin squashed tomato with some Eddie 10yr. Something about the deep sherry finish and the burley together...magic.

What a beautiful pipe! I've been off the forum and off the pipe for about 3 years now, but I swear I remember that beauty from before!
