At last since a few days we have some cold, below 10 Celsius now in Athens, it's not that I like cold, on the contrary, but Spring-like weather in January was far far from normal...

Busting into the new HU arrival. Had to try the one tobacco that i haven't had yet in the stash. HU Night Owl in an M Cinar Cherrywood.
Sutliff Balkan Sobranie Orig. Mix Match in a Savinelli Bacco 321 rusticated author. 9.5/10

Now smoking Pembroke with a glass of cognac. Sometimes, I prefer this one to Margate. In some ways, I think Pembroke is the more tobacco forward tasting blend than Margate and it’s apricot/licorice flavorings. For whatever the reason, I just taste more of the Orientals in Pembroke.
It's Pre @BarrelProof. Yes, it is delicious. Barrelproof's genius was to find the correct balance of Chocolate, Mocha, and Mint. The Ratio is 2:5:1. It works. The mint works best as a background player to the chocolate and Mocha. But no matter what, you only want the mint at a level of 1/8 and no greater, that is one part mint and 7 parts something else.
Frosty Mint by itself was untamed and out of control - but it was designed to be used as a blending agent and never by itself. Mint and chocolate or mint and mocha are natural friends. There is still some Frosty Mint available. Get it now - it will never be available as a pure additive again.

What kind of chocolate and mocha do you recommend?
Was feeling like having an aromatic this afternoon so it’s Uhles BJs Cavendish in a MM Dagner. With water. 
Sutliff Chocolate Supreme and C&D Mocha. Used with Frosty mint in the proportions listed above and you ave what is referred to as EZ1 - a fantastic blend of dessert tobaccos that are highly attractive to female smokers but are a nice change up for men as well. Let is rest two months for best results.
Another one from the cellar I haven’t tried before now.
Astleys #2. The tin claims a lot of Perique in this one, and I’m not a big fan of Perique. I smell fruit in the tin note.
Smoked in a Sasieni Four Dot “Barclay”.
I am surprised by this one. The flavor is really nice! A deeper Virginia and a slight spice from the Perique. I stress SLIGHT. It must be the age knocking down the Perique punch. This is the first Va/Per I’ve truly enjoyed! Not only will this get jarred up, I will probably buy another couple tins. I want to see what its like fresh.
