Agreed. I think of them as the meat and potatoes of tobacco. Nothing that will wow you, but priced right and available.@BDIC I enjoyed the Pegasus in my clay pipes. I like the C&D blends as they're reasonably priced on Smokingpipes and they have a good range.
Haha! I love it. We haven't done an inventory here, but we can't have any more than 10 cassettes, maybe? Those things surely had been through the wars back in the party days. I remember guys used to have the briefcase, and even suitcase sized, cassette carriers, taking them to field parties. A lot of tapes. I wonder if they've survived.@BCF I read online that cassette tapes and Walkmans are making a comeback; I used to have them but haven't seen any for years!
Dad's been clearing out the spare bedroom and he's found his old 80s Sinclair ZX81 (2k upgraded) and Spectrum (48k). He's contacting the new Derby Computer Museum about them and asking if they're of interest. We donated our vintage 1920s cooker to Chesterfield Museum some 20 years ago when it finally became electrically unsafe. They've had 3 cookers in the last 22 years since; nothing's made to last any more.
I've acquired a classic Nokia 3310 mobile phone in the last year and would like to keep it until the 2G sunset (by 2033)...
Smoking C&D White Burley straight really helped me appreciate Eight State Burley. The 2022 Boswell Canadian with 2021 C&D White Burley. Haven’t smoked this straight for awhile. A cup of strong black coffee riding shotgun.
