Now smoking year 2015 John Aylesbury Sir John’s Flake Virginia in a straight smooth light brown 2020 Ryan Alden Ace of Spades squat bulldog with a spalted pecan top and ferrule that’s on the tapered black acrylic stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Enjoying the last of this bowl of Eccentric in the Bones Stovepipe after replacing a front oil seal and trans line seals (not sure of the latter is the source of the trans leak or not). Waiting to pick up some Butter Chicken and Potato Pacora on the way home.

I am killing a tin of Burley Flake no1 by C&D. I don't even bother jarring this blend because of how fast it goes. Besides 1792, this tobacco could be a desert island blend for me. Smoking it out of a Dagner cob.

I finished that story, and a bowl of C&D Virginia Gentleman in a straight smooth dark brown pre-1940s Comoy’s Jost’s Olde English Supreme J299 billiard with a black tapered vulcanite stem. It'll be free time for a while.

Now smoking the last of this tin of year 2022 Wessex Campaign Dark Flake in a smooth dark brown medium bend year 1924 Dunhill 136A double patent apple with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

C&D Winchester in a Markus Fohr clay pipe, one of the ones I got from Weezell (RIP).
I find James's method of tapping the ash out of the clay pipe useful; it comes straight out with no risk of breaking the pipe!
Just tap the pipe gently on the back of your hand!

Going to have Cringle Flake Holiday Edition 2021 in a Chacom Volute Smooth Grey Rhodesian with a hand cut stem. The model is named for a sought-after mollusk shell. The briar bowl is set to a heel, transition, and shank made of acrylic. The transition from the acrylic shank to the stem is relatively seamless.



I love the unusual stummel where the grey meets the red. It’s got an odd grace to it.
