Work and my back are done for the day, so I'm smoking year 2012 Carter Hall in a black rusticated medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 437/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem.

29° and still gloomy. Rusticated Italian briar calabash derivative with new LNF. A very fine smoke. 8/10. I really don't care for calabash briar shapes, but this pipe is a workhorse and never fails. Got it at a steal too. I've rarely had a conical bowl shape that isn't a wonderful smoker. Something about the angled wall? Sure seems like it. Too bad I don't much care for dublins or any shape that always has a conical bowl. Makes me sort of want a billiard with a conical bowl. I don't think I've ever seen one though.
