It looks a little darker in color than a freshly opened tin. How exactly did you prepare it? Was there any casing added before it went in the press?
how long was it in the press?
Looks delicious! I have four of these in my cellar. Might be a fun project?

Did nothing to it. Just put 50 grams into the pasta press and turned the screw down every day until i could not turn it anymore (6 days). I think it was a bit more rich in the smoking but has been a week+ since I last had the regular stuff. Will try the unpressed again in next day or so and see if anything really jumps out at me as a difference. It's a very pleasant blend as is and no additions so i am curious if there will be a notable difference.

Number six in the (corrected shape) 6 paneled bent bulldog lattice meer is MB Virgina Flake. Though not really visible in the photo, it is starting to color. As the guy says at the end of the molto dolcho commercials in Brian’s podcasts, “I can see it! I can see it!”
