Good night. I smoked a H Hupman Junior, in the parking lot outside the hospital. My father-in-law is recovering well. I think in a month, he will be living a normal life. Now I have occupied his bed, and sent him to walk around a bit, he has to take walks down the hall. Damn, the menu here is fantastic. I'm going down to the cafeteria right now, and have a nice potato omelet for dinner. Happy break guys.
Will send up some prayers for his speedy recovery.

I love the simple, rugged look of this pipe. How easy is it to keep that stem clean?
With this pipe, and some of my cobs, one of the “issues” is pipe cleaners tend to shed and snag a bit more to the interior of the less than perfectly smooth draught holes. While I love the idea and novelty of single piece/all briar, and this two piece/all wood pipe, they all have an astringent quality and kind of make your lips and tongue feel a bit dry. Other than that, it’s not that much different to clean than a more typical pipe.

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed Suzy and Molly along with two ferals.

My prayers are with you and your family that your father in law recovers quickly and fully. Enjoy the Tortilla.

'16 Best Brown in the 1985 Ashton X Pebble Grain Liverpool.
After 5 or 6 years, Best Brown develops a funky concentrated barnyard/hay note that I go crazy for. Very similar to the notes in Cameroon wrapped cigars. For me, it's a cousin to the "vinegar/ketchup" fermented note common among some Virginia blends.
