Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and snow peas dinner withe strawberries for dessert. I'm part way through this bowl of year 2013 Full Virginia Flake in a straight 1968 Dunhill Shell bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Watching an episode of The Untouchables.

Used to ride my bike a lot. Loved it. Then I tore my knee up really bad (not in cycling, another accident), and have never gotten back to the level I was at. Reading your posts made me look at my bike and almost cry. Like you, I had just gotten the beautiful Bianchi I dreamed about, when disaster hit. Gotta get back in that thing!

I broke my hip in a bike accident when I was 30. My goal was to get back on that bike, even before I could walk well. I totally understand the passion for getting back on two wheels. Godspeed to getting back to it…. if that is still a goal.

It does smoke really well. I sanded the inside of the bowl to get rid of the overspray of finish. Once I got a couple smokes through it to build up minor cake it rocked.

I go so far as to sand down the bowls on cobs to a smooth finish. Makes wiping them out with a paper towel a lot easier.
