Love all of your pipes! Where did you get the Sugar Basket? I've looked online and find something called Sugar Barrel, is that the same thing?
There was a sale at SPC a while back on Sutliff products. I picked up a few of their burley blends, and this was one... holly crap! It is called Sugar Bucket! My bad. Sugar Bucket - Sutliff Pipe Tobacco | Smokingpipes.com - https://www.smokingpipes.com/pipe-tobacco/Sutliff/Sugar-Bucket/product_id/250694/bulk/

It is not a favorite so far, but it does burn nicely, especially when you let it go bone dry.
I had though that I had thrown it out, until I was on vacation and realized that the baggie was in the bottom of my pipe bag... which was nice, because I was needing a tad bit more diversity to my tobacco selection at the beach.
I probably won't buy any more, once this is gone, but it is a nice take on an old Codger blend. Worth a try, but I suggest not buying a pound till you've tried it. It has that underlying new car smell that is prevalent in Sutliff's offerings. I think they may add it to give their blends a tad bit of a proprietorial taste. Very subtle... but burns my sinuses somewhat.

Why am I smoking it? It's not gawdawful, and i like to give new to me things a fighting chance to grow on me.

It's really hard to quantify "favorite" tobacco blends. There are so many great ones, and tastes change daily. So a top 10 list is impossible. But... if I could make one, Savinelli's Essenza Cipriota would definitely be on it, lol. I love this stuff. Currently smoking it from my Savinelli Punto Oro Corallo 622KS. What a *massive* bowl this pipe has!

Thanks for the info. I'll probably give it a try with just an oz or two next time I place an order. Love to see what everyone is smoking so I can research different tobaccos and try what I think I might like.
