About a third of a bowl left of year 2001 VaPer Three Nuns in a 1938 straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell bulldog with a silver band repair with a black vulcanite saddle stem. This should get me to lunch time. Larry's Sweet Espresso #17, neat, is my drink.

Last bowl of Mac Baren Classic Loose Cut (but not the last pouch). In a -Made in Poland- Mr Brog pipe, which has been so very much modified from a local carver that not even Mr Brog himslef would recognize it. I know I have said that before, in another post. Repetition is a (another one) sign of aging.
Hot, red and spicy drink in the mug.
Listening to the divine voice of Josienne Clarke (I have a thing for female singers/songwriters).
And the weekend begins!
May you have a nice one good people.

Escudo in a Radice Rind twin-bore.

Since returning to the pipes, I’ve just spent a year trying and cellaring VApers.

Today, I complete this journey where most would say I should have started - A 2008 tin from AC Peterson. Wonderful smoke! It would have probably screwed me up to start with this one.

Enjoyed a tasty cinnamon raisin French toast and sliced orange lunch, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2010 Amphora Original (Brown) in a 1990s slight bend black Sasieni 4 Dot Ruff Root Dark 4 Dublin with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Have enough for one more bowl. Watching Wanted: Dead or Alive.

GLP Barbary Coast, burley based with Virginia and brandy, in a Peterson slightly bent rusticated apple, looking for some more snow here tonight, the third weekend in a row. Just did a kitty litter and beer run to Walgreens. Got some light bulbs replaced in a kitchen fixture, and recycled some plastic bags at the grocery. Now hope to make good yardage on assembling an office chair, a holiday gift from my wife. I'm enjoying this blend. I hadn't associated GLP with burley based blends much, but this is a good one, not overbearing but tasty.

Ahhh Friday morning, that means, CS cowboy coffee, Cup O Joe, in a Sav, and a fire in the workshop. Finishing up these pipe racks. I’m going to start a thread on the racks and would love your honest opinions and criticisms. I’ve been ready some of the other threads on racks and you guys have already helped so much. I know they’re not for everyone but I just wanted to make something more up to date then the old racks. View attachment 124680View attachment 124681
A really great job!
